As part of His Majesty The Kingโs Coronation weekend celebrations, thousands of organisations nationwide are encouraging residents to help in their local communities in an initiative called ‘The Big Help Out’.
The Big Help Out aims to use volunteering to bring communities together and create a lasting volunteering legacy from the Coronation Weekend.
Daventry Town Council, in collaboration with the Southbrook Community Centre, are hosting a community Litter Pick and tidy up on ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ ๐ด๐๐ต ๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฏ, and we would LOVE for you to join us.
If you can spare an hour on the Bank Holiday Monday, we welcome everyone to come along, lend a hand and make a change within Daventry.
The Big Help Out at Southbrook hopes to encourage residents to join us for a voluntary hour of tidying up, sweeping and litter picking whilst giving something back to the town.

Daventry Town Council and Southbrook Community Centre Staff will lead the pick. Daventry Town Council will provide all litter pick sticks, hoops, bags, brushes and shovels, although should you have your own equipment, please bring it along so we can maximise our kits amongst the volunteers.
There is no need to book a spot; just come along on the day. Everyone is welcome, although a responsible adult must supervise children in attendance.
