Daventry Museum is a friendly and fascinating social history museum. Run by volunteers and housed within and funded by Daventry Town Council, this cultural hub is where people meet to share stories and learn about Daventry’s rich history.
Daventry Tigers Bowls Club evolved from the closure of the Daventry British Timken Bowls Club when the company closed the local plant in 1997. A group of employees petitioned the company to retain the bowls club and were successful, the company agreed to this and added an area to be designated a sports ground.
Drayton Grange Football Club is now a community club, providing football and special oppurtunities for junoir and senior male players, disabled players and junior and senior female players and caters from under 6’s to under 15’s.
In 1972, The Charter Trustees were formed to look after Daventry’s charters and town regalia after the change in local government and the formation of the Daventry District Council.
DaventryHighStreet is a local community site aimed at bringing all local shops and local organisations together along with local news and events.
