Today (12th April) marks the re-opening of non-essential shops and businesses and there is a wave of excitement in Daventry from both business owners and shoppers as we return to a bit more of normality.

Many owners have been busy over the past couple of months, and here are a few of the exciting things that are on offer.

• Kitchen, Bowen Square, has painted a new ceiling and will be having some new outdoor furniture ready for sunny spring and summer days.
   
• Quinns, High Street, are holding a large stock sale so visit from today for some great deals on footwear.
   
• The Lion, High Street, will be opening for outdoor drinking. Opening hours will be limited and they have a new outside tv screen & canopies for undercover.
   
• The Foundry, Foundry Walk, has been busy renovating and extending their kitchen and cocktail facilities.
   
• Diamond Appearance, St Johns Square,  will be offering new clients and old who haven’t been to the salon for 12 months £15 off cut and design and £25 off colour, cut and design.
   
• The Aroma Lounge, High Street, will be reopening and operating a limited menu for takeaway and outdoor seating. They are also planning offers for when they fully reopen for indoor seating (in line with government roadmap – all being well) on 17th May, which ties in nicely with their 4 year anniversary.
   
• Prezzence, Bishops Court, has been busy with a new refurbishment.
   
• Culaccino, Foundry Walk, are offering excellent coffee at less than half price.
   
• The Antisocial, High Street, will be re-opening with a lovely new outdoor seating area.
